We are planning, prepping and getting ready for the Halloween party on October 19, 2024. We wish you all knew how much fun we have celebrating you and your continued support of our business.
Speaking of business, there was an adjustment made as to how we contract with buyers and sellers. Here is the rub, the way the settlement could “change” how we contract is what we have been doing for decades. Colorado is one of 13 states that has had a buyer’s agreement and a listing agreement that states clearly how everyone is getting compensated for their services. We have always and will continue to stress that all compensation is negotiable. There is no standard compensation in the state of Colorado.
We will continue to be REALTORS. Meaning, we will work under our license law in Colorado and 17 Standards of Practice under our Ethics Policy. We believe strongly that it is our duty to protect the public and to be advocates during your real estate journey.
